Yes! In fact, we prefer to evaluate your fence first to see if it is suited to repair. We will not replace a fence that can be repaired unless a client wants us to.
Yes. According to The Fences Act (Victoria), “adjoining owners are liable to contribute in equal proportions to the carrying out of fencing works in respect of a dividing fence of a standard not greater than the standard for a sufficient dividing fence.” Find out more about The Victorian Fences Act 2014 Amendment
The additional cost would have to be carried by your neighbour. As per Victoria’s Fences Act, you are only required to pay half the cost of a standard fence.
This is allowed, but the contractor must agree to it, and you will have to get permission from the affected neighbours to do so.
This will be included in the quote from Abela Fencing. It may seem like an easy job to DIY, but it is very heavy labour and challenging, and there is a risk of injury involved.
The quote will contain an estimated date for starting the project. However, the start date will only be set once the quote has been accepted and the deposit has been paid.
You will need to plan for your pets while the fence is being installed or repaired. While we will do our best to repair your fence as quickly as possible, keep in mind that larger projects like new fences will take more than a day and we may experience holdups such as weather or illness.
